Traceability
A good traceability system for agri-food products must include users/partners identification, premises identification, product identification and movement follow-up.

Traceability is currently a very hot topic. It is the aptitude to find the history, the use or the localization of an entity by means of recorded identifications (ISO8402). In other words, traceability is the creation of a tracking system, for all stages of production, from the origin of the product to the end product, which can be used as a benchmark to ensure the origin and the quality of the product in order to guarantee that it is safe for consumer consumption.

Consumers are more and more concerned about the quality and safety of the food they buy, as it has been clearly demonstrated during the recent crisis that affected the agri-food industry.
